It’s Just a Pity I Won’t Be Watching It
On Wednesday, around quarter past 8 in the evening (UK time), the SpaceX Crew Dragon Demo-2 mission—the first crewed launch for SpaceX and NASA’s first in nine years—was scrubbed. I was concerned when I first tuned into the feed; about half an hour later, it was bucketing down with rain. It turned out the culprit was a thunderstorm just down the way that had left the air charged and posed a risk to the astronauts.
I initially thought it was fog, as I didn't have any commentary for the rocket feed at the time.
The good news is that today we get to do it all again. This time, however, I won’t be live-blogging. I am currently suffering from a migraine, and even writing this short article is making it worse. Staring at a screen for hours wouldn’t do me much good, which really sucks.
