Isolation Day 61: Website upgrades & New Products

I’ve spent today making a few upgrades to the website. Hopefully, you’ll see faster loading times across the site. I’ve also cleared out a few plugins that were sitting unused, which I had originally thought might come in handy.
Trying to make Google happy with page load speeds is a total nightmare. Fingers crossed everyone sees a slight improvement—desktop users should see the biggest change, as for some reason, Google doesn't quite like the mobile layout right now. Don't worry, though; I’ll be working on improving the mobile responsiveness over the next few days.
New Look, New Gear
Once I got the desktop site to a decent place, I spent an hour or so adding some new products to the store. You may have noticed that I changed the logo a few days ago—I wanted something simpler that I could easily recreate if I ever lose the main source file (it’s happened to me in the past!).
I’ve recreated the t-shirts and mugs I had previously with the new logo and added a few more items, including:
- Long-sleeve t-shirts
- Hoodies
- Jumpers
